Layla came into contact with our foundation through board members of the foundation around 2005. She got involved as a medical pedicure specialized in diabetic foot treatment. She traveled several times to the hospital in Ghana, the first time with Marjon, in 2005.
She made preparations to set up a diabetic foot clinic. As of per 2015 this foot clinic is running very well. From the Netherlands and through our foundation, Layla coordinates the needs and logistics of the clinic.
