In 1989, the founder of our foundation was confronted with the medical needs of a small regional hospital in Ghana. In collaboration with some of his friends, the foundation ‘St. John Hospital Ghana’ was created in 1990. The aim of the foundation was to support the medical needs of St. John of God Hospital and achieve better healthcare. The fundamental beliefs of our foundation are the respect for life and the human right to a dignified existence.
